DESIGN INSPIRATION & HISTORY
CRAFTSMAN 33 was created with encouragement and inspiration from two long time friends Estelline O'Harra & Nance Schaefle of C.W. Pickets in Portland, Oregon who create incredible works of art from wood including Adirondack style, Lodge Pole & Tramp Art furniture & accessories. Along with their urging to attend the summer Art & Antiques shows in Sun Valley, Idaho and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Reinhold Sanders and Finn Carpenter decided to create a series of usable furniture using a medium of mixed metal: Hand-Hammered Copper, Stainless Steel and Natural Antlers.
Drawing from their combined knowledge in the antiques field, a passion for nature and love of the Arts & Crafts style. They have achieved lasting Quality and Craftsmanship in every piece.
Reinhold Sanders was born in Texas and raised in Eastern Oregon. He was exposed to the antiques field at an early age attending antique markets with his parents who were & still are selling old farm & tractor implements. Finn Carpenter was born and raised in Vancouver, WA moving across the river to Portland in 1998. He has had a long time interest in history & research as well as more than 20yrs experience in the antiques field.
